FLYING T PERFORMANCE HORSES WELCOMES YOU

The Flying T Ranch is located 40 miles northwest of Ft. Collins, CO and 20 miles west of Grover, CO. The ranch consists of 8,000 acres of rolling hills and grassy plains inside the Pawnee National Grasslands. It is home to 250 head of cow calf pairs, 300 head of yearlings, and on average 15 head of broodmares, and 3 stud horses. All of our broodmares are bred in the summer and foal in the fall. The ranch was founded and started by Earl Anderson in 1936, and has been in the family ever since. In the 1960’s Earl's son Jack and and his wife Joan took over the ranch, and in the 1980’s they did the same with there son Steve. Steve who now owns and operates the ranch today worked closely with Jack and has stayed very committed to producing a top of the line performance horse his father started years ago. Jack began with a couple Leo bred mares to breed to the neighbor‘s stud “Tonto Bars Gill”, which was a start to this quickly growing broodmare herd. Later he used a “Blue Valentine” stud along with a “Three chick” stud. In 1993 Jack purchased a stud named “Jack Feature” by “Frosty Feature” out of the mare named “Two Eyed Jack”. This stud really shows the keen eye Jack had  for outstanding performance horses, with big bone, big frame but never lacking in speed and agility, and a disposition to go with it! This bloodline is the foundation of Flying T horses and has quickly made a name in the performance horse world.
